Impact Leader, Social Entrepreneur and Storyteller

About

Meet Titilope

I work to connect talent from historically excluded communities, including women, young people, and individuals from the Global Majority who would otherwise not have access - to opportunity. This has been the thread of my journey, from studying law, to student-led organizing, working in international development research, starting a female-focused social enterprise, creating impactful content, and now, connecting first-time social entrepreneurs to seed funding. With over 6 years of experience in social impact and development, I excel in communications, grantmaking, operations, project management, people management, research, storytelling, strategy, and social entrepreneurship.

I am a leader, a social entrepreneur, an impact professional and a storyteller, passionate about serving others and helping them make a meaningful impact in their lives and their communities. At Sisterly HQ, I empower Nigerian women by providing them with access to inclusive stories, opportunities, and skills training. We serve over 50,000 women across digital platforms, redistributing opportunities such as jobs, internships, and scholarships, organising career development programs and sharing inspiring stories.I also work at a non-profit where I help fund early-stage founders who are tackling poverty in Low- and Middle-Income Countries through evidence-backed interventions. On LinkedIn, I share stories and lessons on career, social impact, entrepreneurship, digital tech, and funding with a community of over 21K people. I started creating content on LinkedIn as a law student. I wanted to share everything I knew, from tips to experiences with others! Five years later, I have been recognized as a two-time LinkedIn Top Voice and a part of the LinkedIn Creator Management Program.I became a Vital Voices and Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund Visionary in 2023. A few months later, I was selected to attend the Global Summit, joining an inspiring group of twenty women leaders in Washington DC, USA. I was also selected from a pool of 2210 applicants for the Western Union Foundation Fellowship powered by the Watson Institute. At the end of the fellowship, I won the fifth-place award in the Venture Development Stipend Competition. My work has been recognized by the Fora Network for Change, where I represented Nigeria at the Global Summit in Toronto, Canada. I was also awarded Common Purpose’s Global Legacy Award, named a 30 Under 30 social impact leader by the Global Governance Initiative, and recognized as a powerful global voice disrupting systems and driving change at Women Deliver in Rwanda.I have spoken at Duke University, the Hult Prize at the University of Lagos, LinkedIn, and at Lagos Model United Nations, West Africa’s largest simulation of the United Nations. My work has been featured in Opportunity Desk, Purposeful Media Professional, The Growth Podcast, Kurerie, Give Her Dollars and LinkedIn News Africa, as well as published in Tech Cabal, Africa’s leading technology publication. My research in gender equality and technology has been cited in leading national and regional publications.I enjoy reading books, trying new and familiar recipes, swimming, watching baking shows, singing, and watching Nigerian sitcoms on YouTube.
